The Lion and The Rose – GoT SPOILERS

So lasts night’s Game Of Thrones episode was something to celebrate. This may actually be my first positive GoT post. (I’ll Time Travel Tuesday the old ones soon.)

BEWARE. THERE BE SPOILERS.

THE KING IS DEAD! HALLELUJAH, PRAISE C’THUN!

All those lamb sacrifices were not in vain!

So the sadistic cunt that is King Joffrey Baratheon is now… well…

I spent the last 15 minutes of the episode grinding my teeth in anticipation. Bells and I watched it together, texting as we did.

One person in particular had my heart this episode: Sansa Stark. For three seasons now, I’ve battled between wanting to slap her and wanting to hug her. Right now I want to throw her a party. I don’t believe Sansa would be one to revel in this “misfortune”, but I imagine she is finding much relief in the cruel King’s passing.

This was also the first episode I ever took a liking to Melisandre. I’ve fueled a lot of dislike for her due to mistrust. That remains, but the scene with Shireen made me want to like her for some reason. It may have something to do with realizing how much I dislike Selyse and convincing myself that she is the crazier of the two. We shall see!

This season of Game Of Thrones may be the best thus far.

“There is only one hell, princess. The one we live in now.”
